US Insurance Overview We are seeking a highly seasoned Tech PMO Leader with a deep background in Java technologies, Artificial Intelligence, and extensive experience in the US Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of overall IT experience, with 15+ years in Java, 1.5+ years in AI, and a strong track record of driving large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Leadership & Governance
- Lead technical governance, project oversight, and execution strategy for complex enterprise programs involving Java-based systems and AI-driven components.
- Establish PMO frameworks, best practices, roadmaps, and delivery standards.
- Oversee architecture alignment, design reviews, and risk mitigation. Project & Program Management
- Drive end-to-end delivery of digital transformation programs for US Insurance clients.
- Manage multi-vendor environments and cross-functional teams.
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and capacity management. AI & Modernization Initiatives • Lead AI implementation leveraging LLMs, ML models, NLP, automation.
- Integrate AI into legacy Java-based systems.
- Collaborate with data science teams to define AI use cases. Technical Expertise
- Guide teams on Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, API design, cloud-native systems.
- Support architecture decisions for distributed, integrated, hybrid cloud systems.
- Review quality, scalability, and security. Stakeholder Management
- Work with US Insurance clients, leadership teams, and business partners.
- Ensure transparency and alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Manage executive communication and customer relationships.
Required Qualifications Experience
- 20+ years total IT experience.
- 15+ years Java.
- 2+ years AI/ML.
- 810 years PMO/program management.
- Strong US Insurance domain knowledge.
