Tech Ops / DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Purpose: keep cloud, databases, and deployments fast, secure, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Own AWS: VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, networking, backups
- Build/maintain CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins); blue-green, rollbacks
- Containerize with Docker; run on ECS/EKS
- Support devs across environments, observability, and releases
- Database ops: migrations, performance tuning, HA/DR, backups
- Monitor/alert (Cloud Watch/ELK/Prometheus); incident response and RCA
- Automate with Terraform/Cloud Formation and Bash/Python
- Cost optimization and security hardening
Requirements
- Strong AWS DevOps experience
- SQL fluency; MySQL/Postgres admin basics
- Git, Linux, networking fundamentals
- Logging/metrics tooling
- Security best practices (IAM, secrets, least privilege)
- Clear troubleshooting and documentation
