Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Credit Card Production Support Analyst to provide L2 application support for end-to-end Credit Card systems. The role requires strong hands-on experience across the complete credit card lifecycle and proven expertise in VisionPLUS. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring stability, availability, and performance of credit card applications while coordinating with multiple business and technology stakeholders in a banking environment.
What You'll Do
- Credit Card Application Support (L2)
- Provide L2 production support for Credit Card systems covering the complete card lifecycle – onboarding, issuance, activation, transaction processing, billing, settlements, limits, disputes, and closures.
- Handle production issues and user requests received via email or phone with defined priority and SLA adherence.
- Perform severity assessment, incident management, RCA, and ensure timely closure of issues within defined TAT.
- VisionPLUS Expertise
- Provide hands-on support for VisionPLUS modules related to Credit Cards.
- Analyze issues related to authorization, transaction posting, billing cycles, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve VisionPLUS application and batch-related issues.
- Technical Troubleshooting & Analysis
- Write and execute SQL queries to analyze transaction data, customer records, billing, and reconciliation issues.
- Use Linux commands for server-level troubleshooting and log analysis.
- Debug production issues using application and error logs.
- Develop or modify SQL scripts, stored procedures, and data fixes when required.
- Operations, Compliance & Security
- Support closure of VAPT findings and security observations related to card systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with Business, Product, Operations, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Application Vendors, Infra, Network, and DB teams to resolve production issues.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure clear understanding and resolution of issues.
- Process Improvement & Reporting
- Drive continuous process improvements in credit card production support.
- Track incidents, generate MIS and performance reports, and maintain a structured knowledge base.
- Share regular status updates with stakeholders.
- Ownership & Team Contribution
- Demonstrate strong ownership and sense of urgency while handling business-critical card issues.
- Be a team player who can independently handle high-severity production issues when required.
Success Metrics (first 12 months)
- Reduced recurring incidents in Credit Card production systems.
- Improved TAT and SLA adherence for card-related issues.

Must-Have Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in application production support within the banking domain , preferably Credit Cards.
- Strong hands-on experience across the Credit Card lifecycle .
- Proven experience working on VisionPLUS for card applications.
- Strong SQL skills for queries, scripts, stored procedures, and data analysis.
- Good working knowledge of Linux operating environment.
- Experience in incident management, RCA, severity assessment, and SLA tracking.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have
- Experience supporting high-volume card transaction systems.
- Exposure to billing, settlements, disputes, and reconciliation processes.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
