Key Responsibilities
Managing Cash flow for the Company.
To gauge borrowing requirement of the Company and evaluate the need to raise additional funds and evaluate terms for raising funds. Raise funds through a mix of short- and long-term fixed income instruments and work towards achieving low cost of borrowing in line with company projections.
To mobilize resources from Debt markets for the Company.
Responsible for market borrowing through (CPs, Debentures - NCDs, Sub Debts, Perpetual, ICDs etc) by private placements.
Conduct in-depth market analysis, draw insights, and analyze funds requirements to enable funding related decision making as part of the treasury Front Office team, brainstorming, and discussing with Head Market borrowings/Head Treasury on day to day/weekly basis.
Analyse market scenario, keep a track of bond markets, interest rate movements to identity funding avenues.
Investments in Government securities, Treasury Bills and other identified securities for maintaining Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)
Maintain relationships, negotiate, and conclude trades with intermediaries such as brokers, merchant bankers for mobilizing funds. To empanel various brokers as per regulations.
Work on setting up new investor limits and build relationship with various investor segments like Banks, Mutual funds, Corporates, Insurance Companies, pension funds and provident funds. To develop and maintain relationships with Investors/market participants to convert opportunities into deals.
Preparation of Information memorandum and cash-flows in co-ordination with Mid/Back Office.
Coordinate with operations team to ensure closure of transactions, documentation, and settlement in a smooth manner.
Overseeing and checking the entire process related to E-bidding for NCD issuance on exchanges. Maintaining relationship with exchanges for EBP & listing of issuances
Stay updated with regulatory guidelines / circulars/ policies related to NBFC sector, Housing Finance sector, financial markets issued by RBI/SEBI.
To share exhaustive MIS on fund borrowings, source and rates of funds borrowed, comparison with benchmark, sharing the interest rate movements.
To prepare presentations (Treasury review, RMC, BRC, ALCO) on market dynamics and major debt market announcements.
