Purpose of the role-
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Build the MNE business in Bangalore
- Manage and deepen existing relationships
- Actively pursue and onboard MNCs based in Bangalore/Karnataka
- Build and maintain active relationship with consultants, lawyers, CA firms, VCs , consultants
- Build network with Venture Capitalists, Private Equity Players
- Demonstration of sharp growth in assets (MNCs) and liabilities (MNCs and new age businesses)
- Actively track and pursue FDI / Fx deals in the New Economy Business vertical [ start ups etc]
- Requires good understanding of credit, asset products and liability products
Strategy & Planning
- Manage a portfolio of MNC's with key responsibilities including advising clients on funding strategies, choose between various Bank products ensuring maximum ROI for the Bank
- Responsible for deal origination, structuring, obtaining credit approvals and implementation of financial solutions for a portfolio of clients spanning the large corporate houses.
- Cross-selling products of the bank including - treasury solutions, liabilities, Debt capital market solutions, Syndications, corporate advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, knowledge banking, etc. Focus on liabilities, transactional banking, and opportunistically look at lending for well priced deals.
- Monitoring the performance of the account client (financial performance etc.) on a regular basis.
- Actively and consistently seek an opportunity to expand share of wallet of the customer base
- Maintain ongoing contact with operations in order to ensure smooth delivery of transactions.
- Nurturing Relationship Managers and optimising their productivity
Education
Essential: MBA Finance from Tier 1 / 2 college / CA 1st or 2nd attempt
Preferred: BTech + MBA is preferred
Experience
Essential: 10-14 years of relevant experience in handling Escrow Products
Preferred: Prior experience in sales in trade finance, supply chain management, or related fields
