Description

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader - CPC (5 plus years) for our Medical Coding division specializing in Evaluation and Management (E&M), General Medicine, Radiology, and Interventional Radiology (IVR). The ideal candidate will lead a team of coders, ensuring compliance with coding standards and optimizing the coding process.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the medical coding team for E&M, General Medicine, Radiology, and IVR coding.
• Ensure accurate and timely coding of medical records based on established guidelines and protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and provide feedback to team members to enhance coding accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate training programs for new team members and ongoing education for existing staff.
• Monitor coding productivity and quality metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Act as a liaison between the coding department and other healthcare staff to resolve coding-related queries.
• Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines and regulations.
• Should be able to handle client calls whenever required.

Certification is mandatory

Relieving letter is not mandatory

Salary: 5-11 lacs p.a. (Will be matched according to previous salary and experience)

Work Location: Chennai Central, Tamil Nadu.
