Team Leader Collections

WeCredit is looking for a motivated, target-oriented, and experienced professional to join our team as a Team Leader – Collections. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in collections, proven team-handling capabilities, and a strong focus on achieving recovery targets and improving team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Collections Executives to achieve daily, monthly, and overall collection targets.
• Monitor individual and team performance, productivity, and collection efficiency.
• Allocate accounts and portfolios while ensuring timely follow-ups and effective resolution.
• Track collection performance and implement corrective measures to improve recovery rates.
• Provide regular coaching, guidance, and on-the-job support to team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs.
• Monitor daily collection reports, MIS, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, collection procedures, and professional customer interaction standards.
• Handle escalations and assist in resolving complex customer and account-related issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth collection operations and timely case resolution.
• Identify performance gaps and implement strategies to reduce delinquency and improve productivity.
• Prepare and share regular performance updates with management.

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience in collections is mandatory.
• Proven experience in team handling or team leadership.
• Experience managing a team of Collections Executives will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of collection processes, recovery strategies, follow-ups, and delinquency management.
• A target-driven mindset with a strong focus on collections and productivity.
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
