Role Overview
We are looking for a Team Leader – Collections to manage and motivate a team of 8–15 telecallers and/or field collection agents. The role involves driving collection targets, monitoring team productivity, handling escalations, and ensuring compliant and ethical recovery practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage telecalling and field collection teams
- Drive daily recovery and collection targets
- Conduct team briefings, target setting, and performance reviews
- Coach agents on collection, negotiation, and customer-handling techniques
- Monitor PTPs, productivity, call quality, and agent performance
- Manage dialer allocation and calling efficiency
- Prepare daily MIS and performance reports
- Coordinate telecalling and field collection activities
- Handle customer escalations and ensure compliance with RBI guidelines
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Collections & Recovery, preferably in Banking/NBFC
- 6+ months of team leadership/supervisory experience
- Hands-on experience in Telecalling and Field Collections
- Experience with Personal Loans, Business Loans, or Credit Card collections
- Knowledge of dialer systems, PTP management, and MIS reporting
- Basic Excel proficiency
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- DRA Certification preferred
- Graduate in any discipline preferred
