Your tasks

Lead and manage a distributed team of 16 web developers and operations.and QA-specialists across different locations in India.
Act as a people manager support, coach, and develop team members to ensure high engagement, motivation, and performance.
Collaborate closely with the Munich-based Team Lead to align strategy, priorities, and delivery across the global External Customer Applications landscape.
Ensure reliable operations and continuous development of Rohde & Schwarz external customer platforms websites, customer portal, and eCommerce.
Drive best practices in agile delivery, coding standards, and operational excellence.
Oversee capacity planning, workload distribution, and resource management across the team.
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Report on team performance, delivery progress, and operational KPIs to senior management.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of talent within the team.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor or Master's of engineering from Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of recognized University
Strong people management and leadership skills with experience in coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Proven experience (5+ years) in leading web development and/or operations teams, ideally in an international environment is a plus.
Solid understanding of modern web technologies, platforms, and operations (CMS, eCommerce, cloud-based solutions).
Experience working in agile delivery models and distributed teams. Ideally also experience in working as a SCRUM Master
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
