Job Purpose
Lead strategic initiatives and performance governance for the Gold Loan business, driving growth, process optimization, channel expansion, and financial performance. Act as a bridge between business, product, risk, operations, and finance teams to enable scalable and profitable growth.
1. Business Strategy & Growth
- Drive business planning, growth strategy, and market expansion for the Gold Loan vertical.
- Identify new channel opportunities (DSA, partnerships, branches, digital).
- Track disbursement trends, yields, and portfolio performance to recommend strategic interventions.
- Support pricing, customer segmentation, and product positioning decisions.
2. Performance & MIS Governance
- Develop and manage business MIS dashboards covering disbursement, LTV, yields, TAT, NPAs, and profitability.
- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and highlight gaps with actionable insights.
- Drive data-backed decision-making for leadership reviews.
3. Channel & Distribution Strategy
- Optimize productivity of branches, DSAs, and partner channels.
- Define incentive structures and performance benchmarks.
- Support onboarding and governance of new distribution partners.
4. Financial & P&L Oversight
- Track revenue, cost metrics, and portfolio profitability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure alignment between growth strategy and risk-adjusted returns.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Risk on underwriting norms and portfolio quality.
- Work with Operations to improve TAT and customer experience.
- Coordinate with Product for feature enhancements and process digitization.
6. Process Improvement & Controls
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process enhancements.
- Strengthen governance frameworks and internal controls.
- Drive automation initiatives for reporting and workflow efficiency.
