Job Title: Team Lead Recruitment

Location: Pune

Reporting To: Business Head / Founder

About The Role

We are looking for a high-ownership Team Lead Recruitment to drive mandate execution and manage a team of recruiters. This role will focus on delivery excellence, candidate quality, and team productivity, ensuring that client mandates are closed efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading recruitment delivery, mentoring recruiters, and maintaining strong closure ratios and turnaround times across mandates.

Important: This role is strictly for candidates with prior experience working in a recruitment consulting / staffing agency environment.

Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment Delivery & Mandate Execution

  • Work actively on mandates received from clients
  • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates across mid to senior-level roles
  • Ensure timely and high-quality candidate submissions
  • Maintain strong closure ratios and turnaround times (TAT)
  • Ensure strong candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer closure
  • Client Coordination
  • Work closely with clients to understand role requirements and hiring expectations
  • Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines and hiring progress
  • Maintain strong communication between clients, candidates, and internal teams
  • Ensure smooth interview scheduling and offer closure
  • Team Leadership & Delivery Management
  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters
  • Allocate mandates and monitor recruiter productivity
  • Set performance KPIs for the team
  • Ensure delivery targets and hiring timelines are achieved
  • Train recruiters on sourcing strategies, candidate screening, and stakeholder management

What We're Looking For

  • 48 years of experience in recruitment consulting / staffing agencies (Mandatory)
  • Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment delivery
  • Experience leading or mentoring recruiters
  • Strong understanding of recruitment metrics (closure ratio, TAT, candidate quality, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple mandates simultaneously
  • Strong candidate evaluation and stakeholder management skills
