About The Position

Location: Bengaluru

Hybrid

This role is responsible for leading the Record-to-Report (R2R) function, ensuring accurate end-to-end accounting and timely financial reporting. You will manage a team of analysts, oversee month-end close processes, and deliver high-quality financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards. The position involves stakeholder collaboration, audit support, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and expertise in ERP and reconciliation tools are essential. This is an opportunity to influence financial operations and contribute to strategic decision-making in a dynamic environment.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role

Leading and supervising the R2R team

You'll manage Analysts and Senior Analysts, assign tasks, motivate, and develop their skills to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output.

Owning the month-end close process

You'll oversee timely completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

Driving reporting and compliance excellence

You'll prepare and review income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensure SOX compliance, and coordinate with auditors for smooth audits.

Collaborating and influencing stakeholders

You'll work with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to resolve queries, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.

Improving processes and maintaining governance

You'll identify efficiency opportunities within the R2R cycle, update SOPs regularly, and ensure adherence to internal controls and Blackline reconciliation standards.
