Position Responsibilities

The role will involve the following critical activities:

  • Be a member of the Tax Compliance team supporting tax management for both fund entities and various Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
  • Review tax workpapers for partnerships and corporations: Book-to-tax differences, Allocation calculations, State tax computations, Tax analysis on various financial transactions
  • Ensure timely and accurate federal, state/local, and foreign income tax filings, including withholding tax reporting and investor reporting such as Schedule K-1, Schedule K-3, and Form 1042-S.
  • Review federal, state/local, and foreign income and informational tax returns for partnership, trust, and corporate entities.
  • Manage the collection and tracking of external flow-through Schedule K-1s received from lower-tier investments.
  • Support recurring tax compliance initiatives, including FATCA and CRS, by assisting in the preparation, review, and documentation of tax forms, such as IRS Forms (W-9, W-8BEN-E, W-8IMY) while ensuring accurate record maintenance and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Support regulatory and entity documentation processes including Form 8832 and Form SS-4 filings.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors and internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements using technology solutions.
  • Gain familiarity with Irish VAT principles and reporting requirements and support related compliance activities where required.
  • Liaise with tax advisers across multiple jurisdictions, including but not limited to US, UK, India, Hong Kong, and Ireland.

Looking For

Must Have:

  • 3-4 years of experience; Public Accounting, Financial Services, Hedge Fund or Private Equity experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA/MBA/CA required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and prioritization capabilities
  • Exposure to international tax compliance and interest in learning multiple tax jurisdictions.
  • Exposure to FATCA/CRS compliance processes and IRS Tax Forms (W-9, W-8BEN-E, W-8IMY)
  • Basic understanding of US partnership taxation and investor reporting (K-1, K-3, 1042-S, etc.).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, administrators, and external tax advisors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player across the Finance organization.

Good To Have


  • Interest in global tax regulations and cross-border investments.
  • Willingness to learn tax frameworks across jurisdictions, including but not limited to US, UK, Hong Kong, Ireland, and India.
  • Experience working with fund administrators and complex fund structures is a plus.
  • Basic awareness of Irish VAT would be an added advantage.
