Astrome Technologies is searching for a Deployment Team Lead to spearhead the installation and integration of our innovative E Band Wireless Radio solutions at client sites. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of technical professionals to ensure that deployments are carried out smoothly, efficiently, and to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all customer demonstration/deployment of Microwave Transmission Network, working along with the account business leader
- Lead and coordinate the field deployment team, monitoring their performance and offering guidance to ensure quality execution of deployment tasks
- Develop and implement deployment strategies that align with project objectives and timelines
- Oversee all technical activities related to Microwave Link installation, configuration, and integration at client locations
- Conduct RF site surveys/Link Budget Planning to assess project requirements in collaboration with clients and internal teams
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices during all deployment operations
- Manage resource allocation and scheduling to optimize team efficiency and meet project deadlines
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders regarding deployment processes and technologies
- Compile and present deployment reports, including project status and team performance metrics, to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Electronics, Communication, or Information Technology
- 5+ years of experience in deployment or field operations within the Wireless Microwave technology or telecommunications industry
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and project coordination
- Proficiency in IP networking, systems integration, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites as per project requirements
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus
