Job Description
The Manager is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and support of the SAP Project System (PS) area to meet the business needs of the company. Working closely with our customers to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality, the PS Manager adds value to the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) through their knowledge of the PS modules and its integration with other SAP modules.
Responsibilities
- Understand the values and vision of the organization and align activities accordingly.
- Protect the Intellectual Property.
- Adhere to all the policies and procedures.
- Work with other line functions to collect or provide relevant data.
- Perform and be responsible for all SAP-related customizing and developments.
- Evaluate new identified business processes in coordination with business stakeholders.
- Find the best technical solution in SAP for approved changes.
- Configure SAP modules according to process definitions.
- Support business stakeholders and project teams by accurately translating business requirements into SAP form requirements.
- Create and update form-related documentation like functional specifications, configuration documents, and forms data repository.
- Support project teams with form-related project incidents (bug-fixing).
- End-to-end implementation experience in domains like Banking, Manufacturing, Civil, or other industries.
- Strong configuration knowledge of PS structures like WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement Planning, Project Quotation, Timesheets, Goods Issues, and other project management activities in SAP PS.
- Experience with the complete PS module cycle from project creation to settlement.
- Integrated knowledge of CO, FI, MM, SD, and PP modules.
- Conduct user requirements gathering, blueprinting, and documentation designs.
- Evaluate and amalgamate research findings to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations for clients.
- Work closely with management in various processes/projects to ensure smooth implementation and communication.
- Fulfill a variety of operational tasks using appropriate proprietary applications.
- Monitor, coach, and develop the team by sharing knowledge and providing necessary training.
