Overview Of Role

The Investor Services role is a key function within the fund administration and operations team, responsible for managing all investor-related activities across private equity, hedge funds, or private credit funds. This includes processing capital calls and distributions, maintaining accurate investor records, onboarding new investors, and ensuring timely delivery of investor reports. The role requires close coordination with internal teams such as fund accounting, legal, compliance, and client relationship management to ensure accurate and compliant execution of investor transactions and communications. A strong understanding of fund structures, investor reporting standards, and regulatory requirements are essential. The ideal candidate will responsible for leading day-to-day investor servicing operations while acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders across Investor Relations, Compliance, Legal, Fund Accounting, and external partners. The role combines hands-on expertise with team management and process oversight.

Position Responsibilities

The role will involve the following critical activities:

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new investors, including KYC/AML documentation, review, escalation, and coordination with Compliance and Legal teams
  • Supervise timely and accurate delivery of investor reports, capital account statements, audit confirmations, and regulatory-related investor communications
  • Assist with the investor relations functions for the Private Wealth Solutions business.
  • Coordinating communication between Wire Houses, Financial Advisors, Reginal/independent broker dealers, RIAs and our Transfer Agent.
  • Facilitate capital activity events including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and reviewing and tracking documentation from investors while liaising with internal and external legal and tax counsel. Will work closely with the transfer agent and various investment platforms.
  • Updating and maintaining investor records.
  • Review and oversee reconciliation of investor data using reports received from the transfer agent; investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Produce, review, and analyze investor statistics, dashboards, and management reporting for internal stakeholders
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives related to investor reporting, document remediation, fund guidelines, and operational exceptions
  • Have an understanding of and ensure compliance with FINRA, FATCA and ERISA obligations as well implementing AML/KYC procedures.
  • Respond to investor inquiries and liaise with internal teams (Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, etc.) for resolution.
  • Act as escalation point for investor inquiries and coordinate resolutions with internal teams (Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Tax, Technology, etc.)
  • Manage, mentor, and review the performance of junior analysts; allocate work, set priorities, and ensure SLA adherence
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, drive standardization, and support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and control

Looking For

Must Have:

  • 6-8+ years of experience in working with Asset Manager or Fund Admin as IR role
  • Familiarity with private equity or hedge fund structures (Master-Feeder, SPVs, Parallel Funds, etc.)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership mindset with experience coaching, reviewing, and developing team members
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail with strong control awareness
  • Strong work ethic and desire to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment

Good To Have

  • Exposure to FATCA/CRS, AML/KYC requirements.
  • VBA Macro
  • Experience with systems like Investran, eFront, Allvue, WSO, or similar platforms is a plus.
