Cab facility provided

Job Title: Team Leader – Loan Documentation & Analysis

We are seeking a Team Leader with strong financial acumen and hands-on expertise in loan document analysis. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a high level of accuracy, process discipline, and leadership capability in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Word; exposure to CRM, LOS, or loan servicing systems is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

Risk Identification, Escalation & Special Assets Support

  • Identify missing, insufficient, or conflicting information in loan files and escalate issues as per documented escalation protocols.
  • Flag early indicators of operational, compliance, or credit-related risks for U.S. stakeholder review.
  • Support loan transfers to Special Assets by preparing complete, well-documented transfer summaries.
  • Clearly differentiate between administrative issues, operational delays, and potential credit concerns to ensure accurate reporting and escalation.

Controls, Compliance & Documentation

  • Adhere strictly to documented SOPs, checklists, workflows, and escalation matrices.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation, clear file notes, and appropriate version control across all loan records.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate, complete, and timely documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with information security, confidentiality, and data handling requirements at all times.
  • Perform duties in alignment with U.S. regulatory expectations for commercial lending and SBA-style loan environments.

Primary Skills (required)

  • Portfolio Monitoring & Servicing Support
  • Monitor loan performance, payment activity, and servicing requirements for assigned loan portfolios.
  • Track and update key portfolio metrics such as delinquency trends, borrower responsiveness, and documentation status.
  • Maintain accurate borrower communication logs, servicing notes, and document records within servicing systems.
  • Manage insurance, tax, and related servicing ticklers, including escalation for force-placed insurance where required.
  • Monitor external alerts (e.g., business credit flags) and document actions taken in accordance with SOPs.
  • Prepare internal summaries, memos, and portfolio reports to support Credit, Portfolio Management, and Special Assets teams.
  • Assist with renewal documentation preparation ahead of credit reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Min 5 years of experience in credit operations, loan servicing, portfolio monitoring, or related BFSI roles.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending processes, loan documentation, and servicing workflows.
  • Experience working with U.S.-based lending portfolios(Commercial / SBA preferred).
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance processes, and escalation mechanisms.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in night shifts and collaborate with U.S.-based stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduation (Any).
  • Familiarity with audit support and regulatory documentation standards.
  • Experience using loan servicing systems and document management tools.
