Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to and exceedance of customer SLAs through holistic issue resolution.
  • Review, manage, and escalate support tickets when required.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Engineers, providing technical direction and hands-on support as an L3 escalation point.
  • Participate in and drive root cause analysis and long-term solutions for recurring issues.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via tickets, calls, and periodic review meetings.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide structured feedback to HR and management.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to improve infrastructure and operational processes.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in cloud infrastructure with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of L3-level technical support in a cloud-first data center or managed services environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux systems, MySQL databases, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud solutions.
  • Strong expertise in virtualization, containers, and associated ecosystem technologies.
  • Practical knowledge of storage, networking, backup systems, and Bash scripting.
  • Deep experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, or ManageEngine.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skillsboth written and verbal.

Bonus (Preferred) Skills

  • Familiarity with CloudStack or Citrix CloudPlatform (as administrator or maintainer).
  • Experience working in Data Center or ISP environments.
  • Knowledge of GPU-based systems, GPU virtualization (e.g., Nvidia BCM).
  • Exposure to supporting AI/ML workloads.
  • Understanding and experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN).
  • Experience using automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
