Role Description

IDS is looking for two experienced and driven Team Lead Building Performance Analysis to join our growing Sustainability / Building Performance team. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in energy modeling, data-driven design, and sustainable building practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the project client team (developers, builders, architects) for activity planning, delivery of outputs and coordination of training workshops
• Lead and coordinate with the project team members for delivery of the work as per the plan developed with the clients and IDS senior management
• Develop and refine building energy models using DesignBuilder, Rhino-Grasshopper, EnergyPlus
• Analyze thermal comfort, HVAC loads, and passive strategies
• Support ECBC, ENS, LEED, EDGE, and IGBC or other certification documentation
• Conduct simulations and parametric studies for early design support
• Present actionable insights in the form of presentations and reports
• Lead training workshops and mentor junior analysts
• Automate workflows using Python, Grasshopper scripting, or APIs

Qualifications

Minimum Postgraduate Degree in Building Science, Architecture, or related fields

Preferrable: ECBC Master Trainer, BEE Empaneled ECBC Professional, Accredited Green Building Professional

Minimum Software Proficiency: DesignBuilder or Rhino/Grasshopper with EnergyPlus

Preferrable Software Skills: ENVIMET, Python Programming.
