Job Description

Role Description:

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3 to 4 years of experience in Accounts domain to join us as Team Lead - Accounts (Assistant Manager/Manager). The role will be based in our Hyderabad Corporate Office and will report to the Finance Controller of the Company. Interested candidates can send their resumes to [Confidential Information]

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Close & Reporting: Own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), including ledger scrutiny and reconciliations
  2. MIS & Business Insights: Prepare and present MIS reports including management packs, variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and cost center profitability to support decision-making
  3. Internal Controls & Compliance: Strengthen and monitor internal controls across P2P, including DOA matrix implementation, SOP adherence, and audit readiness
  4. RCM / ICFR Governance: Develop and maintain Risk & Control Matrix (RCM), perform control testing, support IFC/SOX documentation, and track remediation of control deficiencies
  5. Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight: Supervise AP/AR functions, including vendor/customer reconciliations, payment cycles, collections tracking, and TDS compliance
  6. Taxation & Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, TDS/TCS, income tax, along with handling notices and assessments
  7. ERP & Process Improvement: Drive ERP utilization (Business Central), automation initiatives, and ensure master data accuracy and process efficiency
  8. Audit & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal auditors, statutory auditors, and external consultants to ensure smooth audit processes, timely closure of audit queries, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  9. Team Management & Reporting Line: Lead and mentor the accounts team while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of experience post qualification
  • Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance principles
  • Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Prior experience in a team management/ managerial role is preferred
