Teaching Internship

Pehchaan The Street School (Trust) is a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing education to underprivileged children in India, regardless of their socioeconomic background. For over 9 years, we have emphasized education as a fundamental right while breaking the barriers created by the institutionalization and commodification of learning. With a focus on both academic and vocational studies, we aim to empower children with a strong foundation to pursue their aspirations. Our street school initiative stands as a testament to our commitment to accessible and inclusive education.

This is a full-time on-site Teaching Internship role based in Delhi, India. The Teaching Intern will be responsible for daily lesson planning and delivering engaging educational sessions tailored to the needs of the students. They will also assist in developing curriculum materials, fostering communication with students, and guiding them through foundational academic skills. The role involves creating an inclusive learning environment and actively contributing to the mission of accessible education for all.

• Proficiency in Lesson Planning, Curriculum Development, and Teaching
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for Education and a commitment to inclusivity
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs
• Prior experience in volunteering or teaching roles is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Education, Social Sciences, or related fields is preferred
