About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced teacher of Spanish and French for our Year 9 University Campus. This is a part-time (0.8FTE) opportunity commencing Term 1 2026.
Your Everyday
Working closely with the Curriculum Leader and Head of Learning Area, the successful candidate will
:
- prepare for and conduct classes, inspiring and fostering a love and appreciation of learning in Spanish and French at Year 9
- use a variety of evidence to inform teaching and learning practices, creating relevant and authentic learning experiences
- demonstrate excellence and adopt a proactive, innovative approach to adapting instruction and lessons based on individual student needs
- scaffold instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities
- foster and provide for student wellbeing of our students.
About You
- Suitably qualified and experienced in teaching Spanish and French
- Capacity teach Media Studies and/or Humanities
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students and colleagues
- passionate about student learning and professional growth
- up to date knowledge of contemporary teaching application and theory
- personal resilience in managing multiple demands and timelines.
