Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Around 6 to 15 years of domain experience managing AD, Windows, VMware, Hyper-V

Extensive and hands-on knowledge in all facets of AD-related tasks and activities.

Extensive and hands-on experience on VMware environment

Thorough understanding on creation and modification of GPO policies

Extensive experience in vulnerability management

Experience in monitoring and auditing systems

Ability to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems

Experience working in both a private or public cloud environment

Administering a Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 R2 active directory domain using standard Microsoft snap-ins such as Active Directory Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services, Active Directory replication, and others as necessary. o Understanding of FSMO Roles o Creating objects, shares, groups in active directory o Microsoft Distributed File System o Microsoft Distributed File System Replication o Microsoft File/Print services

Experience managing Active Directory-integrated DNS and DHCP solutions.

Improve AD processes and automate repetitive tasks wherever feasible.

Configuring and maintaining WSUS and/or SCCM server

Excellent writing skills with a proven background in writing documentation & presentations

Experience developing scripted solutions using Microsoft PowerShell.

Installation of ESX Servers, vCenter Server and vSphere Client

Extensive knowledge in advance features of ESX VMOTION, SVMOTION, HA and DRS.

Excellence in Customer interaction

Experience in Data Centre operations.

Outstanding communication/presentation skills

Good-to-Have

Microsoft Certification

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Overall accountability for the technical support for Infrastructure services delivery for the client

2 Leading the service delivery technical team, managing conflict and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently

3 Identifying customer needs and overseeing service delivery within the business context

4 Ensure all resources engaged are effectively utilised for delivering services meeting the agreed SLA and KP
