Position: TCAD Engineer
Location: Dholera, Gujarat (Hybrid)
Experience: 5 + Years
What You Will Work On
- Own TCAD development for 40–180nm CMOS, HV, BCD, and eNVM technologies.
- Add new devices & features (CMOS, memory, passives) and build nextgen technology modules.
- Calibrate TCAD decks to silicon; validate models using real data.
- Predict device performance, propose Design of Experiments (DOE), and guide silicon validation.
- Work on Wide Band Gap devices (GaN/SiC) or emerging memories (RRAM/MRAM/Flash).
- Present insights to internal and customer senior leadership.
- Partner closely with Technology Development, Design Enablement & Manufacturing teams.
Who We Want (MustHave Skills)
Candidates must have strong, demonstrated experience in:
Device Physics & Modeling
- Deep understanding of CMOS device physics
- Handson experience with TCAD models + SPICE compact models
- Exposure to GaN, RF, Power devices OR eNVM technologies (RRAM, MRAM, Flash)
Failure Mechanics
- Knowledge of key reliability mechanisms:
- CMOS: HCI, NBTI, TDDB
- eNVM: SILC, Endurance, Retention, Disturbs
Process & Manufacturing
- Strong understanding of process modules, process variation, and DFM
- Proven record delivering technologies into highvolume manufacturing
Leadership & Collaboration
- Can mentor and lead a small technical team
- Ability to work with global, crossfunctional engineering teams
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing discussions
Qualifications
- M.S or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields
- 5+ years experience in semiconductor TCAD / device engineering
- Demonstrated success taking technologies from development production
- Strong problem-solving using DOE, modeling, and analytical tools
Note - The role is based in Dholera, Gujarat, India. Candidates from Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, or GIFT City (Gandhinagar) are also welcome. You may begin in a hybrid work arrangement working 2-3 days (Week) from Dholera later transitioning to a fully onsite role in next few months.
