Job Description

We are seeking a Taxation Officer to independently handle the taxation matters of group companies. You will be responsible for regular tax assessments, assisting with tax litigation, and ensuring timely filing of income tax returns. This role requires a Chartered Accountant with strong analytical skills and a high level of ownership to manage tax compliance, plan for tax savings, and build strong working relationships with all stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Independently handle the regular assessment of group companies, including coordination and compilation of necessary details.
Litigation Support: Assist in CIT(A), DRP, and ITAT matters for the group companies.
Filing & Reporting: e-file income tax returns for all companies in the group and complete the Tax Audit and International Transfer Pricing for group entities.
Calculation & Provisioning: Prepare advance tax calculations, current tax provisions, and deferred tax computations.
Advisory & Planning: Advise on TDS implications, deal with TDS Officers, and plan for tax savings in relation to new laws and rules.
Refunds & Analysis: Ensure the timely obtainment of pending refunds and analyze recent judgments to assess their applicability to group entities.

Skills Required:

Proven experience in tax litigation and tax compliance.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
High levels of ownership and accountability.
Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work effectively.

QUALIFICATION:

Chartered Accountant.
