Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Associate Taxation Accountant is responsible for assisting with the preparation and submission of tax statements and returns for the company. This position learns the skills to provide advice on financial and tax matters. The Associate Taxation Accountant develops expertise and provides assistance to ensure tax legislation and planning compliance. This position assists with maintaining documentation, support and research any relevant issues, responding to tax correspondence and assisting with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision and related tax accounting.What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Use tax form instructions and tax tables to make proper entries on tax submission forms
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all relevant direct and indirect tax returns
• Assist with finding tax solution to assigned tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
• Support the coordination of specific processes to support the implementation and execution of the taxation cycle in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations
• Prepare tax returns to ensure their alignment to federal and state income taxes for NTT at a local level for quarterly and annual federal and related tax compliance
• Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision and related tax accounting such as the reconciliation of tax data on financial statements
• Assist with preparation of documents on behalf of the company including written correspondence and documents to be submitted to the relevant taxation bodies
• Assist with the preparation of responses related to all types of tax and collate the information required for tax audits and queries raised by taxation regulators in the region / country
• Obtain any supporting documents and compile tax schedules for annual income tax returns
• Assist with the coordination and review of the payment of taxes
• Remain abreast of developments and trends in their area of focus

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Taxation
• Registered with a professional body as Tax Practitioner

Required Experience:

• Moderate level experience in similar position
• Moderate level work experience in a related environment
• Moderate level basic experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
