Job Description
This role will support the Oracle Tax & Treasury data research team by managing the full lifecycle of data pull requests and ensuring smooth coordination across stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include logging new requests in the Tax data request tool in Oracle APEX application, securing VP approvals on data deliveries after project manager review. The position monitors resource bandwidth, assigns projects based on availability, and maintains regular reports in Tax Compliance and Audit areas. The role will also manage closure communications, and dashboards for data requests, resource utilization, and hiring cadence. The ideal candidate will be expected to quickly assume the maintenance of the Controversy and Audit Management Tool with complete accuracy, ensures alignment with Tax project managers for prioritization of deliveries, This position will manage onboarding and offboarding activities across the Tax operations org, including asset handling, system setup, and tracking/transition of project work. This position plays a key part in ensuring operational continuity, leadership visibility, and a structured, compliant workflow across all Tax operations processes.
Responsibilities
- Governance, Compliance & Controls
- Maintain accurate audit, controversy, intake, and documentation systems (e.g., Controversy and Audit Management Tracker, Tax data repositories) while ensuring strict adherence to established review, approval, and closure protocols.
- Support audit readiness through organized evidence management, control documentation (SOPs, RACIs), and alignment with policy and segregation-of-duties requirements.
- Reporting, Dashboards & Leadership Visibility
- Produce timely, recurring TaxTreasury reports, liquidity schedules, dashboards, and weekly SVP-level updates covering data pulls, resource utilization, hiring cadence, and in-progress project summaries.
- Prepare closure reports, obtain PM approvals, and communicate final updates to business requestors.
- Cross-Functional Coordination, Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as a coordination point between Tax, Treasury, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to collect inputs, clarify requirements, manage dependencies, and ensure smooth execution.
- Document end-to-end processes, maintain task-level guides, track risks/issues, and support continuous improvement across Tax & Treasury operations.
- Operations, Workflow Execution & Application Support
- Manage end-to-end intake and execution of Tax-Treasury Data requests. Logging submissions, notifying PMs, scheduling kick-offs, documenting MOM notes, and coordinating progress through closure.
- Support application development by gathering requirements, testing updates, maintaining Tax repositories built using Oracle APEX technology, and ensuring data accuracy across tax systems.
- Resource & Capacity Management
- Maintain bandwidth and utilization trackers, assign resources based on workload, notify PMs of allocations, and ensure smooth work transitions during onboarding/offboarding.
- Lead internal meetings to review progress, new requirements, and operational updates.
