You will manage and execute end-to-end audio production processes including recording, editing, mixing, and mastering for Tamil-language projects.
This role requires strong collaboration skills, technical proficiency with industry-standard tools, and the ability to maintain exceptional quality control in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Audio Production & Engineering
- Record, edit, mix, and master Tamil-language audio content
- Ensure clarity, tonal balance, and technical precision
- Optimize audio workflows using professional-grade software and hardware
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with linguists, content creators, and production teams
- Provide clear written and verbal project updates
- Offer feedback on audio processes to improve efficiency and quality
Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct detailed quality checks for language accuracy and sound integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
- Maintain organized documentation and audio asset management
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on emerging audio engineering technologies and Tamil media trends
- Recommend workflow enhancements to improve project turnaround times
Ideal Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Tamil with strong understanding of dialects and nuances
- Proven professional experience in audio engineering for Tamil-language projects
- Proficiency in DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail and audio quality standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
