Position Overview:

We are seeking a Tally System Expert to manage, customize, and optimize our Tally ERP system according to business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Tally customization, integration with IT systems, and ensure smooth accounting & reporting operations. You will work closely with both the Accounts Team and the IT Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customize Tally ERP to meet company-specific accounting and reporting requirements.

• Integrate Tally with other internal IT systems and software.

• Develop, modify, and maintain Tally modules, reports, and templates.

• Troubleshoot Tally-related issues and coordinate with IT for smooth system performance.

• Ensure regular data backup, system security, and version updates for Tally software.

• Conduct training sessions for accounting staff on customized Tally features.

• Maintain master data accuracy in Tally for vendors, customers, and products.

• Generate MIS reports, compliance documents, and analytical reports directly from Tally.

• Liaise with Tally service providers for advanced support requirements.

• Work closely with finance & accounts to ensure accurate entries and reconciliations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 58 years of professional experience working extensively in Tally ERP environment.

• Proven ability in Tally customization (voucher types, reports, modules, fields).

• Experience collaborating with IT teams for integrations and automation.

• Strong accounting knowledge to align Tally with financial compliance needs.

• Proficiency in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance handling through Tally.

• Knowledge of database backup/recovery, data migration, and system security in Tally.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, or IT-related fields (Tally certifications preferred).

Working Conditions:

• Location: Sipajhar, Assam
