Job Description

Scope:

TSC Business Partner serves as the primary contact for staffing needs, ensuring timely demand fulfillment and engaging with cross-functional teams to enhance supply visibility. This role involves preparing presentations for management, assisting in workforce planning, and ensuring resource allocation aligns with the Statement of Work. The Business Partner identifies staffing issues, future needs, and scheduling trends to maximize revenue, acting as a trusted advisor to Practice Leadership. Key responsibilities include optimizing bench utilization, aligning resource allocation, creating supply visibility, leveraging enablement programs, maintaining a talent database, and monitoring staffing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and efficient staffing.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure Timely Fulfillment of Resource Needs: Proactively manage staffing to meet project resource requirements within the expected timelines.

  • Optimize Bench Utilization: Enhance bench resource visibility, coordinate with solution managers, and facilitate their deployment to billable and cross-chargeable assignments.

  • Align Resource Allocation: Allocate work types and bill rates to resources based on project requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.

  • Enhance Collaboration for Supply Visibility & matching forecasted demand: Collaborate with project managers and solution managers to improve supply visibility and streamline resource selection for projects. Collaborate with regional and domain workforce planners to analyze future demand and ensure proactive resource alignment for efficient staffing.

  • Leverage Enablement Programs: Partner with Enablement teams to integrate and deploy trained graduates into upcoming projects effectively.

  • Maintain Talent Database: Ensure Regular update of talent profiles to ensure a comprehensive knowledge base of resources, skill sets, and certifications.

  • Monitor and Report Staffing Performance Metrics: Publish key staffing performance metrics to drive visibility and continuous improvement across work area Key Metrics the role is expected to drive performance and results: Turnaround time (TAT) to fulfill a position, time to start projects, on-time fill rate, % of Learning & Development (L&D) graduates placed within 90 days, % bench, time to billability for new hires.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in resource management and workforce planning within an IT / ITES / product / consulting organization.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to create reports on work-related metrics and present insights using PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and demonstrate a global mindset .

  • Flexibility to work between 12:00 noon and 9:00 PM IST.
