Role Description
Accountable for defining, driving and executing recruitment strategy and delivery for professional and volume hiring across the assigned portfolio (including Operations and other infrastructure functions). Owns end‑to‑end hiring outcomes (demand intake, sourcing, selection, offer and onboarding readiness) and ensures compliance with recruitment policies, processes, systems and controls. Leads a hybrid delivery model-managing an internal team of recruiters while governing and performance‑managing the RPO partner-working closely with senior business stakeholders/leadership, HR Head, HR Business Partners/Advisors and HR CoEs (e.g., Manpower Resource Planning). Provides end‑to‑end leadership of the talent acquisition agenda across business groups, partnering with India leadership and onshore hiring managers, and engaging directly with internal and external candidates and vendor partners to deliver against agreed service levels and hiring plans.

Your key responsibilities
- Accountable for end‑to‑end recruitment delivery across the India franchise, ensuring hiring outcomes align to approved workforce plans, service levels and controls
- Develop, govern and ensure adherence to the global recruitment policies, systems and procedures, including strategies and selection techniques. Drive enterprise‑level strategies to identify, attract and hire high quality talent
- Lead delivery through a hybrid operating model-directing an internal recruiter team and governing the RPO partner-to deliver professional and volume hiring targets with quality, speed and candidate experience
- Establish and maintain senior-level partnerships with Function heads / hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring demand and forecast basis business needs
- Gather and analyze competitive industry information regarding salary, benefits, and employment practices (Market intelligence) to influence workforce and hiring decisions
- Own RPO governance and performance management, including capacity planning, SLA/metric management, quality controls, issue resolution and continuous improvement
- Drive volume hiring programs end‑to‑end (campaign design, funnel management, assessment/interview governance, offer roll‑out and joining governance) to deliver hiring numbers within timelines and budget
- Lead monthly Hiring strategy discussions and reviews in partnership with senior business stakeholders
- Engage with business leadership team & Hiring Managers on high impact strategic hiring mandates / transformation projects, setting expectations & tracking progress
- Engage with onshore hiring managers, guiding on India hiring processes / cultural nuances, setting expectations & tracking progress at a strategic level
- Manage and resolve complex, high-risk 2nd level escalation cases, ensuring timely closures
- Chair weekly leadership reviews on hiring mandates, progress, challenges and risk mitigation with the team
- Lead weekly reviews with hiring managers on key recruitment mandates / strategic hiring. Provide insight led market intelligence reports
- Lead fortnightly reviews with Business Heads across the India franchise on strategic hiring priorities and outcomes
- As DB Ambassador, champion enterprise wide new hire and employer branding initiatives
People Management
- Provides strategic people leadership, fostering an environment where people management and development is a core priority. Coaches and mentors senior team members and leaders, as appropriate
- Directly manages a team of recruiters, setting clear goals and performance expectations, coaching for capability building in the team.
- Actively supports and translates business strategy, plans and values into people outcomes, contributing to a high-performance and inclusive culture
- Takes ownership for own career management, seeking opportunities for continuous development of personal capability and leadership impact
- Acts as a visible role model and culture carrier for new employees, providing help and support to facilitate early integration and assimilation
- Leads and supports complex people decisions, ensuring performance and capability are aligned with organizational imperatives. Addresses individual and team performance issues where necessary to drive sustained high performance
Your skills and experience
Experience / Exposure
- Requires experience of 15+ years in recruitment
- Graduate with Master's in business administration (specializing in Human Resources)
- Demonstrate excellent interviewing skills, and executive level written and oral communication skills
- Excellent team management skills and experience of managing large teams in a hybrid model
- Exhibit deep knowledge of hiring practices, behavioral based interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions, and recruiting metrics
- Strong exposure across the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle at scale
- Must have exceptional presentation, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
