Role Overview:
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will engineer and maintain infrastructure technology across public and private cloud environments, ensuring security, resilience, sustainability, and operational excellence. You will leverage automation to enable testing, deployment, and CI/CD pipeline integration, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and manage the selection, creation, and maintenance of infrastructure technologies to meet strategic targets and architecture outcomes.
- Develop and maintain products using modern engineering practices and tools, including Infrastructure as Code.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product roadmaps, including lifecycles from introduction to end-of-support.
- Provide operational support for infrastructure patterns and products, resolving production issues and user feedback.
- Assist users in adopting products effectively and incorporate feedback into product improvements.
- Develop technical skills through continuous learning and contribute to sharing best practices across teams.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 10 years of Oracle Database Administration experience, including 5 years with Oracle RAC.
- Expertise in Oracle 19c/23c RAC architecture, ASM storage management, and Grid Infrastructure (SCAN listeners, networking).
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and implementing backup/recovery strategies for RAC databases.
- Hands-on experience administering and monitoring AWS RDS instances for Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in software development or automation scripting (Python, Shell) and understanding of SDLC.
- Knowledge of backup/recovery, patching, upgrading, migration, performance tuning, and storage requirements (SAN/NAS).
- Understanding of Agile working practices and toolsets, with the ability to relate work to platform and domain vision.
