Role Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist, will be a key driver in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top technical and professional talent for STS, with a strong focus on renewable energy inspection, quality assurance, and technical advisory and similar roles. They will manage the full recruitment cycle, build talent pipelines for niche roles, and partner with hiring managers to deliver high-quality talent aligned with STS's growth and mission, while also designing and supporting career development, training, and internal mobility initiatives to strengthen talent retention and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical and professional roles, including Inspectors (Engineers), Project Managers, Technical Advisors, and specialist functions.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals (Naukri, etc.), referrals, and industry networks.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill technical roles within the renewable energy and technical services ecosystem.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs, supporting workforce planning and succession strategies.
- Coordinate with external recruitment vendors to ensure quality, relevance, and timely delivery of candidate profiles.
- Provide market intelligence on talent availability, salary benchmarks, industry hiring trends, and geographic hiring dynamics.
Candidate Assessment & Hiring Excellence
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess technical capability, cultural alignment, and career motivation.
- Facilitate structured interview processes with hiring managers and technical panels.
- Ensure a positive, transparent candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
- Track candidate progress and maintain accurate recruitment documentation and reporting.
Career Development, Internal Mobility & Succession
- Support the design and implementation of career development frameworks, including progression paths and development milestones.
- Assist managers and employees in creating Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for key roles and high-potential talent.
- Enable internal mobility, promotions, and succession planning by identifying readiness gaps and development needs.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, growth, and professional development across the organization.
Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze recruitment and learning metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, learning effectiveness, and participation trends.
- Prepare regular reports and insights for HR leadership on talent acquisition and development outcomes.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve hiring processes, learning programs, tools, and delivery methods.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations when managing candidate and employee information globally.
Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory
- Act as a trusted talent and learning partner to managers and leadership teams.
- Collaborate with HRBPs, and business leaders to align hiring, learning, and performance strategies.
- Provide insights on skills evolution, learning trends, and best practices within renewable energy and technical services.
Employee Branding & Candidate Experience
- Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Represent the company's employer brand in all candidate interactions
- Collaborate with HR and Marketing on employer branding initiatives
- Support the creation and posting of compelling job advertisements
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- 36 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, or an integrated HR role, preferably in technical, industrial, or renewable energy environments.
- Proven experience recruiting for niche, highly specialized technical roles.
- Strong capability in learning needs analysis, instructional design, and program delivery.
- Experience working with LMS platforms, digital learning tools, and modern recruitment systems.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country initiatives is highly valued.
