Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for BPO/Back-Office roles. The recruiter will be responsible for executing the end-to-end recruitment cycle to successfully onboard 450 freshers across Maharashtra. This role requires strong sourcing capabilities, structured coordination, and the ability to manage large walk-in drives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Core Functional Responsibilities
- Source and generate large-volume (2000) qualified resumes through job portals, social media, referrals, and campus/industry outreach.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for high-volume BPO/back-office hiring.
- Conduct high-volume telephonic/virtual screenings to assess communication, job readiness, and role alignment.
- Manage candidate trackers and ensure accurate, timely status updates.
- Organize and manage walk-in drives across Mumbai/Thane in coordination with hiring teams.
- Schedule interviews and manage assessment rounds to ensure smooth candidate flow.
- Oversee documentation collection, verification, and compliance with Maharashtra labor regulations.
- Roll out offers as per company guidelines and maintain strong offer-to-join conversions.
- Coordinate pre-joining formalities, induction, and day-one readiness for onboarding 450 candidates.
- Ensure adherence to hiring SLAs, quality standards, and statutory compliance throughout the recruitment cycle.
General & Cross-Functional
- Engage and collaborate with colleges, training institutes, and local networks to expand sourcing channels.
- Coordinate closely with HRBP, Operations, QA, Training, and MI teams for hiring drives, assessments, and onboarding needs.
- Provide daily/weekly hiring MIS reports and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Experience in high-volume hiring for BPO/back-office or fresher roles.
- Strong multi-channel sourcing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage walk-ins, assessments, and end-to-end recruitment logistics.
- Knowledge of Maharashtra hiring compliance and documentation.
- Ability to work independently with strong ownership and discipline.
Project Timeline
- The project is scoped for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements and performance.
