We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist, to join our team,to be based in Chennai, India. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for technical, engineering, project, and corporate roles across renewable energy projects. The role requires strong experience in hiring for EPC environments, including engineering, site execution & procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition to onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements based on project timelines.
- Develop sourcing strategies for critical and niche renewable energy roles.
- Maintain strong candidate pipelines for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Sourcing & Talent Mapping
- Use job portals, LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, and campus hiring.
- Conduct market mapping for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Build relationships with industry professionals and passive candidates.
Screening & Selection
- Conduct HR screening interviews and coordinate technical interviews.
- Evaluate candidates for technical competence and cultural fit.
- Manage offer rollouts, salary negotiations, and joining formalities.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Stakeholder & Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Procurement, and Operations teams.
- Support manpower planning for new renewable projects.
- Provide recruitment metrics and status reports to leadership.
Employer Branding & Compliance
- Strengthen employer brand within the renewable energy sector.
- Participate in job fairs, campus drives, and industry hiring events.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain ATS, recruitment trackers, and documentation.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7 -10 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in Renewable Energy, EPC, Infrastructure, or Construction sectors.
- Experience hiring technical, engineering and site-based roles.
- Strong understanding of project-based workforce planning.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics.
