Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with strong exposure to EPC or PMC domain hiring. The role involves managing endtoend recruitment for engineering, project management, construction, commissioning, and corporate roles within largescale infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, utilities, or industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Recruitment for EPC/PMC Roles
- Manage full-cycle hiring for engineering and project roles such as:
- Project Engineers, Design Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical)
- Planning Engineers, QA/QC, HSE, Contracts & Procurement
- Construction Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors
- Commissioning Engineers, Project Controllers, Document Controllers
- EPC/PMC Project Leads & Functional Heads
- Align with internal stakeholders to understand project manpower demands and deployment timelines.
2. Project-Based Manpower Planning
- Coordinate with project HR, project directors, and site teams to forecast talent needs.
- Support mobilization and demobilization of resources across projects.
3. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
- Source candidates using:
- Industry-specific job portals
- Contractor databases
- EPC/PMC talent networks
- Campus and lateral hiring channels
- Build pipelines for niche EPC roles such as Piping, E&I, Rotating Equipment, Structural, etc.
4. Interview Coordination & Evaluation
- Conduct initial screening to evaluate:
- Technical background
- Site experience
- EPC/PMC project exposure
- Compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate technical rounds with engineering, project, and construction leaders.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering Heads, HRBP, and business leaders.
- Provide hiring dashboards, pipeline reports, and market insights.
- Support bid proposals by sharing manpower and resource availability inputs.
6. Compliance & Documentation
- Manage joining documentation, offer rollout, negotiations, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and project-specific hiring guidelines.
- Maintain candidate records via ATS or internal HRMS.
Required Skills & Experience
- 38 years of recruitment experience, with minimum 3+ years hiring for EPC/PMC or core engineering domains.
- Strong understanding of:
- Engineering disciplines
- Construction life cycle
- Site-based job roles and project phases
- Ability to hire for both whitecollar and technical site roles.
- Proven experience working with project-driven hiring environments.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Industry Exposure
Candidates from the following sectors are strongly preferred:
- EPC (Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure)
- PMC / PMCs supporting global EPC clients
- Heavy Engineering / Fabrication
- Utilities / Chemicals / Industrial Projects
Education
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- Engineering or technical education is a plus but not mandatory.
