What You'll Do

The TA Senior Manager - Technology, Asia-Pacific will lead end-to-end technology hiring across the region through a team of recruiters, acting as the primary regional execution partner for global technology talent acquisition priorities. Working closely with the Global Technology Portfolio Business Partner-who centrally defines the overall hiring strategy for IT-this role will translate global direction into regionally relevant plans, ensuring that APAC market dynamics, talent trends, and business needs are thoughtfully incorporated.


This role will serve as the key point of contact for senior technology stakeholders across Asia-Pacific, driving alignment between global objectives and local execution. The Senior Manager will oversee all technology hiring delivery in the region, ensuring operational excellence, consistency of process, and a high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience.

As a people leader, the individual will be responsible for the growth, development, and performance of a team of three recruiters, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.


The role will also support broader TA priorities by driving operational excellence, enhancing digital and AI-enabled ways of working, and driving process efficiencies across the region, enabling the TA Director to focus on strategic priorities.


Main responsibilities

1. Lead Regional Technology Delivery & Stakeholder Management Excellence

  • Own end-to-end delivery of technology hiring as the regional node, ensuring alignment with global IT hiring strategies and regional business needs.
  • Translate global portfolio direction into regionally tailored execution plans, incorporating talent trends, market dynamics, and local business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global tech stakeholders hiring in the region, building trust and credibility through expertise and insight.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Partner closely with functional leadership and HR Business Partners to ensure that talent acquisition efforts align with business objectives and workforce plans.
  • Talent Sourcing Partnership: Collaborate with Talent Sourcing Business Partners to drive market insights that guide location strategy and capacity planning decisions for Business Leadership team.
    • Work in partnership with Talent Sourcing to build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for business
  • Partner closely with the Global Talent Branding team to create recruitment specific content for social media and other platforms aligned to portfolio hiring strategy. This can include job descriptions, recruitment videos, employees spotlights, or employer branding campaigns



2. Lead, Develop & Empower a High-Performing Team

  • Manage a team of recruiters, providing coaching, mentorship, constructive challenge, and ongoing development opportunities.
  • Coach & mentor the team in delivery excellence, adopting best practices, high-quality stakeholder engagement, and acting as trusted advisors.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-accountability team culture with strong communication norms.


3. Supporting Global Talent Acquisition Initiative(s)

  • Partner closely with the Global Technology Portfolio Business Partner to support cross-regional priorities, ensuring consistency of process, messaging, and delivery.
  • Work with Global Technology Portfolio Lead and regional node in Europe to ensure regional nuances and requirements are reflected in global strategies and that local recruitment execution aligns with global standards.
  • Act as the primary voice for APAC TA initiatives within Global Technology portfolio, communicating progress, updates, and successes to functional leaders, GBF leadership and regional stakeholders.


4. Drive Regional Operational Excellence and Talent Acquisition Effectiveness

  • Review regional hiring delivery progress and capacity for the region-particularly for GSD, the highest-priority growth area-balancing scalability with operational efficiency.
  • Support the TA Director by managing operational rhythms, improving internal workflows, and strengthening cross-functional coordination.
  • Develop clear, compelling communication materials including dashboards, briefs, and presentations to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimize capacity, and improve data-driven decision making.
  • Utilize recruitment analytics and performance metrics to inform decision-making, optimize recruitment processes, and drive continuous improvement across the region
  • Identify opportunities to embed automation and AI-driven insights into sourcing, screening, reporting, and stakeholder communication workflows.


What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 10-12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with significant experience in leading global or regional recruitment efforts, ideally within a matrixed environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required advanced degree or certifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with modern recruitment technologies, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and HR software.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools related to sourcing, research, productivity, and reporting-with comfort experimenting and identifying use cases.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leaders in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, identify insights, and communicate with clarity.

Who You'll Work With

This role is part of the GBF Talent Acquisition Team and the regional TA leadership team. The Sr Manager will be required to work closely with Regional TA Lead, Global Technology Portfolio Lead, GBF TA Leadership team, Regional Sourcing Lead. Global Technology stakeholders, GBF People Team, Global Talent Acquisition team members and Asia-Pacific senior stakeholders.
