Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition
Operations function, ensuring the delivery of efficient, scalable, and compliant recruitment
operations that enable a best-in-class hiring experience. This role oversees TA Operations
processes, governance, systems, reporting, onboarding coordination, process optimization, and
operational excellence while partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, Hiring Managers,
and cross-functional teams to support global hiring objectives.
Scope
- Manages Talent Acquisition Operations across multiple business units, regions, or countries.
- Leads a team of TA Operations Specialists and Coordinators.
- Partners with Talent Acquisition, HR, IT, Onboarding, WD/ ATS, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.
- Responsible for recruiting operational performance, service delivery, governance,
compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Exercises independent judgment in establishing operational priorities, service standards, and process improvements.
- Leads automation, process optimization, and operational transformation initiatives.
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy while aligning with global Talent Acquisition strategy.
Your Roles And Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the TA Operations team to deliver high-quality operational support and service excellence.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning.
- Establish operational KPIs, service levels, and performance expectations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.
- Drive knowledge sharing, cross-training, and process standardization across the team.
TA Operations & Service Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end Talent Acquisition operational activities across multiple regions.
- Ensure timely processing of requisitions, offer letters, system transactions, and
recruitment operational requests.
- Monitor adherence to operational SLAs and service standards.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of candidate, requisition, and recruiting data within Workday and related systems.
- Manage recruitment governance, approvals, process compliance, and audit readiness.
- Support onboarding readiness by ensuring completion of operational pre-employment activities.
- Access management, utilization, invoice tracking & co-ordination with sourcing platforms SPOC
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Drive standardization and optimization of global Talent Acquisition processes.
- Identify automation opportunities and partner with technology teams to improve
operational efficiency.
- Lead process documentation, SOP development, policy creation, and governance frameworks.
- Conduct process reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Workday enhancements, testing, system implementations, and change
management activities. Stakeholder Management
- Build strong partnerships with Talent Acquisition, HR, Hiring Managers, Onboarding team, Finance, Legal, WD/ ATS support team and external sourcing vendors like LinkedIN, Naukri etc.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for Talent Acquisition processes and systems.
- Lead operational governance meetings and provide updates on service delivery, process performance, and operational risks.
- Resolve complex operational issues and escalations while ensuring a positive
stakeholder experience.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and drive service improvements.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards, scorecards, and service-level reports.
- Monitor KPIs including requisition processing, offer turnaround time, onboarding
readiness, SLA adherence, and operational quality.
- Analyse operational trends and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Present operational performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity across Talent Acquisition systems.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment regulations, and global recruiting standards.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and operational controls.
- Support internal and external audits related to Talent Acquisition Operations.
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in accordance with company policies and
applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8–12 years of Talent Acquisition Operations, HR Operations, Recruiting Operations, or Shared Services experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience leading global TA Operations or HR Operations teams.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting workflows, requisition management, offer management,
onboarding coordination, and operational governance.
- Experience developing and improving operational processes, policies, and SOPs.
- Demonstrated experience managing KPIs, SLAs, operational reporting, and dashboards.
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting or Recruiting module, ATS platforms, and HR technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday implementations, enhancements, testing, and release
management.
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance, governance, and audit practices.
- Experience leading automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to AI-enabled recruiting technologies and workflow automation tools.
- Professional certification in Human Resources, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence is preferred.
