Summit Consulting Services helps multinational companies establish and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India. We're seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead high-volume, complex hiring for our client accounts across IT, engineering, and business operations roles.

Role Summary

The Manager Talent Acquisition will lead end-to-end recruitment for a business consulting firm, supporting hiring across consulting, technology, analytics, and corporate functions. This role is responsible for building scalable hiring strategies, managing stakeholders, leading recruiters, and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience while meeting business growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Hiring & Workforce Planning

  • Partner closely with business leaders and practice heads to understand workforce plans and hiring priorities
  • Translate business growth plans into effective hiring strategies and execution roadmaps
  • Drive hiring for multiple roles across levels including Consultants, Managers, Senior Managers, and Leadership roles

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from intake, sourcing, interviewing, offer management, to onboarding support
  • Ensure adherence to hiring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
  • Handle senior-level and niche hiring directly as required

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and hiring feasibility
  • Influence and align stakeholders on realistic hiring plans, interview processes, and offer decisions
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams on approvals, offers, and compliance

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the TA team
  • Manage external recruitment vendors, search firms, and RPO partners to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality

Process Excellence & Employer Branding

  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes, tools, and candidate experience
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making using recruitment metrics and dashboards
  • Partner with marketing and HR to strengthen employer branding initiatives, referrals, and campus hiring programs

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with internal policies and applicable labor laws
  • Maintain documentation, audit readiness, and adherence to diversity, equity, and inclusion goals

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in consulting or professional services hiring
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume and specialized hiring simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of talent markets, compensation trends, and hiring best practices
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in recruitment metrics and ATS tools
  • Proven people management and coaching skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 812 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 35 years in a managerial role
  • Prior experience hiring for business consulting firms, Big 4, IT consulting, or strategy consulting organizations preferred
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for multiple client accounts, managing pipeline development, offer negotiation, and onboarding for GCC roles.
  • Develop hiring strategies and forecasts aligned with client business goals, optimizing yield ratios and time-to-fill metrics.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, recruiters, and clients to define requirements, conduct screenings, and drive interview processes.
  • Oversee team performance, mentor recruiters, and implement process improvements using ATS platforms like Canvas and Keka.
  • Analyze recruitment data (sourcing channels, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire) and produce weekly decks for leadership review.
  • Ensure compliance in BGV processes, offer management, and confidential handling of compensation data across clients.
