What you'll do
You will build and run talent acquisition for a VC-backed SaaS company's founding India team, which today is a dozen people and is meant to be fifty within the year. You will own the full hiring funnel for engineering, product, and go-to-market roles, from writing job descriptions that actually attract the right candidates to closing offers with people who have other options. You will build the sourcing playbook from close to scratch, decide which channels and agencies are worth the spend, and set up an interview process that stays fast without becoming sloppy. You will also be the person founders turn to when a senior hire is proving hard to close.
What you'll bring
5 to 10 years in talent acquisition, with real experience hiring for a startup or a fast-growing product company rather than only a large, process-heavy organisation. You should be comfortable owning ambiguity, building process rather than following one that already exists, and negotiating offers directly with candidates. Experience hiring technical roles in a competitive market is important, since a large share of this founding team is engineering.
