Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading and executing full-cycle recruiting for Acutis Diagnostics, a U.S.-based clinical diagnostics laboratory specializing in infectious disease and toxicology testing. This role requires advanced headhunting and passive sourcing expertise, deep familiarity with healthcare and laboratory talent markets, and the ability to support recruitment workflows within a regulated U.S. healthcare environment.

The Talent Acquisition Lead will serve as a strategic extension of the U.S. HR function, owning talent pipelines, candidate quality, and recruiting execution while collaborating closely with U.S. leadership and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Headhunting

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for U.S.-based roles including:
  • Expertise in Diagnostic Sales Rep sourcing
  • Familiarity with diagnostics headhunting
  • Execute proactive headhunting and passive recruiting strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and industry-specific sourcing channels.
  • Conduct recruiter-level screening interviews and present high-quality, pre-vetted candidate shortlists to U.S. hiring managers.
  • Maintain strong candidate engagement throughout the hiring process.

Pipeline Development & Workforce Planning

  • Build and manage evergreen talent pipelines aligned to:
  • Licensure and certification requirements (ASCP, NYS DOH, CLIA)
  • Geographic hiring needs (e.g., NY, NJ, FL, CA)
  • Specialized skill sets (molecular diagnostics, toxicology, sales)
  • Partner with U.S. leadership to forecast hiring needs tied to:
  • New assay launches
  • R&D validation timelines
  • Commercial growth and territory expansion
  • Provide real-time market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor hiring activity.

Recruitment Compliance & Process Support

(This role supports compliance execution and documentation; it does not replace legal, credentialing, or regulatory professionals.)

  • Support recruitment-related compliance processes including:
  • License and credential verification tracking
  • Hiring documentation completeness
  • Audit-ready recruiting records
  • Ensure job postings and candidate screening practices align with:
  • U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) standards
  • Fair hiring and non-discrimination guidelines
  • Coordinate background check and drug screening workflows in partnership with U.S. HR.
  • Maintain standardized recruiting SOPs and process documentation.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Act as a daily recruiting liaison between U.S. HR leadership, hiring managers, and external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Track and report on recruiting KPIs including:
  • Time-to-fill
  • Pipeline health
  • Interview-to-offer ratios
  • Hiring manager satisfaction

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of talent acquisition or headhunting experience, preferably within:
  • Healthcare
  • Life sciences
  • Diagnostics
  • Pharma or biotech
  • Demonstrated expertise in passive candidate sourcing and pipeline development
  • Strong understanding of U.S. hiring standards and healthcare-regulated environments
  • Experience recruiting for licensed, credentialed, or compliance-sensitive roles
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. healthcare companies from India
  • Familiarity with laboratory environments governed by CLIA and state DOH regulations
  • Experience recruiting diagnostic sales or laboratory operations roles
