Talend Developer / Data Engineer

Experience: 5 to 7 Years

We are looking for an experienced Talend Developer / Data Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Talend, along with hands-on experience in modern data warehousing, database management, and DevOps-driven data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend.
• Work on data migration, integration, and transformation projects involving large-scale datasets.
• Develop and optimize data workflows using SQL and cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Leverage experience with DataStage and/or Informatica for migration, enhancement, or support initiatives.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes for data integration solutions.
• Manage source code repositories using GitHub and follow version control best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and application teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize ETL processes for efficiency and reliability.
• Follow DevOps best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data platforms

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Talend Data Integration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience working with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of DataStage and/or Informatica.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in GitHub and version control practices.
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and automation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
• Exposure to data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
