Job Summary
We are looking for a Tableau Developer with strong expertise in dashboard development, data modeling, and analytics using Tableau, SQL, and Python. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, developing interactive dashboards, and supporting business decision-making through data insights.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Tableau (dashboard creation, calculations, data blending)
- Hands-on experience in Tableau Prep and advanced Tableau development
- Strong SQL skills (joins, window functions, performance optimization)
- Experience with Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib)
- Knowledge of databases (Oracle / MySQL / MS SQL Server / Teradata)
- Understanding of RDBMS, data modeling, normalization
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros)
- Ability to handle and optimize large datasets in Tableau
Good to Have Skills
- Experience in Agile methodology
- Exposure to Google Cloud or other cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Google Looker Studio
- Experience with ETL tools (DataIQ or similar)
- Knowledge of workflow/batch schedulers (Airflow / Control-M / UC4 / Autosys)
- Basic understanding of UI/UX tools like Figma
- Manufacturing domain experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources
- Build ETL pipelines using CSV, flat files, and databases
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines
- Design and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards
- Perform data analysis using Python (automation, EDA, statistical analysis)
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Perform KPI reporting, forecasting, and trend analysis
- Ensure data governance, documentation, and data quality standards
- Troubleshoot data issues and optimize existing processes
- Work with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, finance, engineering)
- Manage dashboard refreshes and updates
- Stay updated with latest trends in data analytics
