Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Tableau) who can work closely with both business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding business needs from the manufacturing sector, translating them into technical specifications, preparing analytical dashboards, and performing data analysis using Tableau and SQL.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand KPIs, operational metrics, and reporting needs in the manufacturing domain.

Design and develop advanced dashboards and visualisations in Tableau to support business performance monitoring and decision-making.

Transform business requirements into meaningful and actionable insights using data storytelling techniques.

Use Tableau Prep to clean, shape, and prepare data flows for analysis and reporting.

Build reusable data preparation workflows in Tableau Prep.

Schedule and manage Tableau Prep flows for automated and timely data refresh.

Strong command over SQL (complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, etc.).

Identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in operational data and present findings with strong visual narratives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data and ensure data quality.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business logic, transformation rules, report definitions, and data dictionaries.

Provide ad-hoc analytical support and actionable insights to business teams.

Stay up to date with Tableau features and contribute to setting internal visualisation standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

3-4 years of hands-on experience in Data Analysis, BI Reporting, and Dashboard Development.

Advanced proficiency in Tableau (including calculated fields, LODs, parameter actions, filters, and dashboard storytelling).

Must know Tableau prep and should have hand-on experience.

Strong command over SQL (complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, etc.)

Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting, analysis, and documentation.

Working knowledge of Salesforce, AWS, or SharePoint is a plus.

Familiarity with data modelling and source-to-target mapping.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Minimum 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry.
