Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience to design, develop, and optimize impactful dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Tableau, complex SQL, and data governance best practices. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, data engineers, and key stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that drive strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Optimize dashboard performance and user experience using best practices in Tableau and SQL.
- Write and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
- Maintain and enhance data models, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and scalability.
- Implement and follow data governance, data quality, and metadata standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards, data models, and reporting processes.
- Provide support and training to end-users to ensure consistent and effective use of reporting tools.
- Participate in code reviews, QA processes, and performance tuning activities.
Must-Have Skills:
- 57 years of experience working as a Tableau Developer in an enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.
- Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries across large datasets.
- Proven ability to design and optimize Tableau dashboards that are performant, user-friendly, and aligned with business needs.
- Experience in collaborating with analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
- Proficient in maintaining data models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Knowledge and experience with data governance practices and reporting documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
