Job Description

Talent Acquisition (50%)

  • Lead end-to-end hiring across Product, Technology, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Build strong pipelines for niche tech and consumer-tech roles.
  • Drive hiring for ramp-up functions like Sales, ensuring quality, velocity, and 60-60-90 performance alignment.
  • Own assessments, negotiations, and closures in a founder-led hiring environment.

HR Business Partnering (50%)Performance Management

  • Lead annual and mid-year cycles.
  • Drive OKR alignment, goal setting, and calibration with founders & function heads.
  • Build agile, early-stage performance frameworks with measurable outcomes.



Attrition & Workforce Planning

  • Build dashboards to monitor 60-60-90 day ramp-up, early performance, and productivity.
  • Analyze sales attrition, early exits, role mismatches, and skill gaps.
  • Design interventions - capability building, hiring tweaks, manager coaching, role redesign.



Culture & Engagement

  • Strengthen a culture rooted in ownership, agility, and consumer-brand thinking.
  • Create rituals like founder connects, pulse surveys, team huddles, and recognition programs.
  • Translate insights into structured people interventions that scale.



Employee Relations & HR Operations

  • Manage employee relations with empathy and discretion.
  • Streamline onboarding across tech, product & sales build lightweight, scalable policies.
  • Ensure compliance, documentation, and lifecycle management for a growing workforce.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of HR should have:

The ideal candidate brings:

  • 4-10 years of experience across TA +HRBP, ideally in:
    • Consumer Tech
    • Ecommerce
    • High-growth D2C
    • Product-led or marketplace environments
  • Strong technical hiring exposure (Engineering / Product / Design).
  • Experience in rapid scaling and early-stage org building.
  • Soft-spoken, structured communicator with strong writing skills.
  • High ownership, problem-solving orientation, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Ability to partner with founders and influence without heavy corporate HR processes.
  • Data-driven decision-making, especially around ramp-up metrics and attrition insights.
