Job Purpose
As a Systems Team Lead, you will lead the solutions engineering team in the Automation Technology Centre (ATC) in Lucy Electric Manufacturing Technologies, Halol (LEMT). You will cover two areas contract engineering and systems engineering.
Key Accountabilities
- To lead a team of engineers to provide pre-contract support to Sales creating cost effective solutions for our range of RTUs both as standalone systems and integrated in switchgear
- To lead a team of engineers to provide internally or customer funded RTU solutions post contract
- To lead a team of engineers to provide pre-contract support to Sales creating cost effective solutions for SCADA/electrical network solutions
- To lead a team of engineers to provide customer funded SCADA/electrical network solutions post contract
- Identify new technologies/techniques with potential to enhance products, services, processes, etc.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed in order to maintain and / or improve the efficiency, quality and service of the department.
Minimum Qualification, Experience And Skills
Engineering Degree with 8+ years of experience
Functional Competencies
- Knowledge of electrical distribution networks
- Experience of engineering team management

- Version control (design docs, etc)
- Modern embedded electronics systems development
- Knowledge of international standards
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel & Project
Desirable Competencies
- Experience in a range of technologies including digital, analog, and power electronics.
- Knowledge of comms protocols IEC 60870-101/103/104 and DNP 3.0 particularly those used within the sector.
- Knowledge of design tools, CAE/CAD, software dev tools, etc.
