Systems Software Security Senior QA Engineer

The Senior QA Engineer will lead security-focused quality assurance initiatives for HPE Nonstop software, ensuring secure, high-quality software delivery. The role involves developing test strategies, designing automation frameworks, and evaluating security features across the Nonstop software stack.

What You'll Do:

• Lead multiple QA project teams for secure software systems, including testing strategy, analysis, coding, results evaluation, and corrective actions.
• Review and evaluate software designs and project activities for compliance with QA guidelines and security standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for security products, including SSL, SSH, IPSEC, cryptography, and key management features.
• Design and develop automation frameworks for testing secure systems.
• Provide domain-specific QA leadership, mentoring, and guidance to less-experienced staff members.
• Integrate new technologies and security testing methodologies into QA practices.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners to ensure secure software delivery.

What You Need to Bring:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in quality assurance of secure software systems and security products on Linux/UNIX platforms.
• Proven expertise in security testing, including authentication, access control, auditing, ciphers, cryptography, and key management.
• Strong experience in developing automation frameworks and comprehensive test strategies.
• Solid understanding of system-level programming, OS internals, and secure testing concepts.
• Advanced programming and scripting skills on Linux platforms.
• Experience coaching and mentoring QA team members.
• Experience with AI workloads is a plus.
