Description
Systems Engineer to design, develop, and integrate complex vehicle systems across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. The role focuses on ensuring seamless interaction between various vehicle subsystems such as powertrain, chassis, electronics, infotainment, and safety systems.
The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, support integration, and ensure that vehicle performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance standards are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage vehicle system architecture and subsystem interactions.
- Develop system-level requirements and specifications for vehicle components.
- Coordinate with design, software, hardware, and validation teams for system integration.
- Support development of vehicle subsystems including powertrain, electrical systems, ADAS, and infotainment.
- Conduct system modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
- Work with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
- Identify and resolve system integration issues during prototype and production phases.
- Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support vehicle testing, debugging, and optimization activities.
Qualifications
- BE/B.TECH
- 4 to 10 years of experience in systems engineering or automotive product development.
Skills
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture and embedded software integration.
- Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, or Vector tools.
