Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure Automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet, coupled with solid scripting experience in Python/Shell. The ideal candidate should possess a problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across global teams to ensure seamless delivery of infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Manage version-controlled infrastructure-as-code repositories (Git-based workflows).
- Implement automation for server builds, patching, configuration drift remediation, and monitoring integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, Security, Networking, and Application) to streamline deployments.
- Maintain DDI services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) automation and integration through APIs or infrastructure workflows.
- Develop and maintain Python/Shell scripts for repetitive operational tasks and process improvement.
- Support production systems in a 247 environment, ensuring uptime, stability, and SLA adherence.
- Document automation processes, maintain standard operating procedures, and drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6-8 years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure Automation roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell preferred).
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Good understanding of networking, security, and DDI automation (Infoblox, BlueCat, or Microsoft DNS).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on automation and operational efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate clearly with global stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in 247 global environments.
